Il Contado Country House & Spa

Many reasons to give a high rating. The first is the structure... well kept with well-kept lawns everywhere... then the rooms are very large, including the bathrooms and very clean. Ours even had a private "garden". Perhaps the swimming pool is a little smaller than other places we stayed in but I think it's all related to the number of rooms in fact it was never crowded. We had the dog, a perfect area with a gazebo is dedicated, delimited by a fence. It overlooks the hills so the view is "relaxing". They don't have a catering service but they leave a small guide in the room on the best places to go and eat. Poppi, we tried one and I must say that we were satisfied. The location is excellent since it is 5 minutes from the center of Poppi and 25 minutes from the Casentino forests, a trip to Camaldoli and one of the many walks that start from there are a must for those who love hiking. They do not ask for a cleaning fee for dogs. Friendly and kind staff.

Meta Top even beyond my expectations!! Quiet beauty of nature, cute villages!! The location is simply splendid, very modern inside, absolutely perfect and suitable for the place where it is located outside! Level maintenance!! Perfect welcome, perfect rooms, friendliness, friendliness and privacy! Our room overlooking the valley was very neat and clean! It's almost difficult to find a flaw if there is any! Spa very nice cozy beast ! Offering high quality massages etc and always great customer care!! As far as I'm concerned I will leave the structure today possibly with a new booking!! A weekend here regenerates more than a week of anything else! We were guests of this property on Sunday 20th and Monday 21st June. It was a very pleasant experience. The Country house is located in an area of great beauty, right below the Borgo di Poppi (reachable in 10 minutes on foot. We found great courtesy and professionalism at the reception (a special thanks to Laura and her precious advice). The room was spacious and clean. The Casentino Toscano area is waiting to be discovered. It's really worth a visit. Ps: pleasant breakfast, outdoors, with a breathtaking view. It's a shame there isn't an internal restaurant, but Poppi is very close and, if in doubt, ask at reception... they will be able to direct you to the right place to enjoy some local cuisine.
